A Strong Power: Forgive

One of our strongest powers as humans, to me, is the power of forgiveness. Yet, it is also one of the hardest tool to use.
It's sometimes difficult to say that "you love forgiving others!" Especially if a person truly hurts you physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Nevertheless, having the ability to dig deep in your heart, look straight in the eye of the person, and saying "it's ok" whether they want to be forgiven or not, is a powerful statement that shows what kind of person you are.
There's this popular movie that explains it very well, called Schindler's List (It's also one of my favorite movies! If you haven't seen it, go watch it!). Oskar Schindler (protagonist) talks to Amon Goeth (Antagonist) about what true power is, Goeth states that he uses fear for power, but Schindler replies with a story of the Japanese Emperor. Basically a peasent commited a crime and was brought before the Emperor. The peasent knew his crime deserved death. When the Emporer saw him, he just said go, you're free.
I'm certain the peasent was grateful and had more respect for the grace the Emporer showed. Unfortunitly Goeth did not take Schindler's advice and... well.... I don't want to spoil the film :)
There's a point to that story! The act of forgiving resulted in joy!
We need to recognize that sometimes our emotions get to us, and that's normal since we're all human, but what makes us stand out is when we can control our emotions. We should control our anger or sadness and then step up to a person who hurt you and just continue to love them as if nothing happened. Not only will that cheer up somebody, but it'll make you feel in peace.
There's a reason why I gave my life to Jesus. To even think that their is a God that manifested Himself  as a human, survive all the trails we experince, and die on that cross to forgive all our sins and wrong doings just makes me want to share all that love to everybody I meet! That is why I gave my life to Him on Jan. 2, 2011.
To all those who read this, there are some of you that I may have hurt with words or actions. I recognize that I'm only human and I have faults. From the deepest pit in my heart, I'm sorry... I'm sorry for what I've done and for what might happen in the future. There are great things coming and I don't wany anything unfinished!
Forgiveness comes with love. You're ready to forgive someone when you love them. Jesus showed love to everybody, and if He can love me for all the things I have failed Him, and for all the bad that I've done, and for all that I might do bad in the future, I know that I can share love to everybody that I encounter! I know it's possible to forgive the little things and the heart breaking events, even though those will take longer to man up to. Whoever you are, I'll share that love to you, no matter if you're tall or short, black or white, male or female, and I'll ask that you can share love to those around you and forgive them if it's there.
When we forgive with love and let go of the past, peace can come into your life! and it'll feel awesome! :)

With all the love I have
